UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)

Introduction:

The HLPF is the main UN platform for reviewing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including climate action (SDG 13). Governments, civil society, and other stakeholders discuss progress and share best practices on advancing sustainable development globally.

Objective:

To assess global progress on the SDGs, including climate action, and to strengthen partnerships for sustainable development.

Date: July (annual)

Hour: Sessions typically run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
