Rwanda-Singapore Implementation Agreement

Article 6 of the Paris Agreement | Signed: 6th May 2025

Rwanda has signed MoUs with Singapore under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and on 6th May 2025 Rwanda and Singapore signed an Article 6 Implementation Agreement. The overall objective of this agreement is to establish a bilateral framework for the authorization of mitigation activities under this agreement, and the transfer of ITMOs generated for use towards the achievement of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) or other international mitigation purposes in line with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
