The Rwanda Climate Change Portal aims to inform the public, partners, students and researchers about how the country is affected by and responding to climate change. The portal shares information about Rwanda’s laws, policies and strategies that are fostering climate action and green investment as well as data on the country’s greenhouse gas emissions and how Rwanda is working to become a developed, carbon-neutral and climate resilience nation by 2050.
Through the portal, learn about Rwanda’s Climate Action Plan, Green Growth and Climate Resilience Strategy, as well as the country’s emerging carbon market and latest news. The portal aims to inspire citizens and friends of Rwanda to contribute to mitigation and adaptation and build the country’s resilience to climate change. The portal was established and is managed by the Rwanda Environment Management Authority with support from the Green Climate Fund and Global Green Growth Institute.
